Daily Fragrance Scout

Accessibility statement

Daily Fragrance Scout should be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and accessibility is part of how we review every new feature.

What we support

The site is built with semantic HTML — real headings, landmarks, lists, buttons, and form labels — so screen readers can navigate by structure. All interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, and visible focus indicators show where you are on the page. Animations and transitions respect the operating-system "reduced motion" preference. Text colors are chosen to meet AA contrast requirements against their backgrounds, and pages remain usable when zoomed to 200%.

Known limitations

We prefer to be honest about the gaps we know of. The price-history chart on deal pages is a visual graphic; a text alternative summarizing the price data is provided alongside it, but the chart itself is not interactive for screen-reader users. Outbound links take you to third-party merchant sites whose accessibility we do not control. Some community-submitted images may lack meaningful alternative text despite our moderation checks. We are working to close these gaps and update this statement as we do.
