Bergamot, mint pepper and grapefruit open with a sharp, cooling citrus freshness that gives little indication of the density waiting underneath. Patchouli, amber, santal and vetiver build a rich, woody center that shifts the composition considerably from its bright citrus start. Tonka bean, sandalwood, Brazilian rosewood, musk, cedar, oakmoss and cardamom wrap things up warm and layered, giving 13.12 Extrait de Parfum serious staying power once fully developed. Woody aromatic is the fitting classification, structured for evening wear while remaining workable on a cooler afternoon. It suits dinners, business events and any occasion calling for a fragrance with considerable depth. Fall and winter favor this dense, woody structure most, though the mint-citrus top keeps it wearable into spring.
