Few perfumery materials count as less conventional than rice water and lava, yet both define Perry Ellis 360 Collection Noir Cologne from the start, bergamot and rice water granting the top a clean, faintly starchy brightness, soft and milky rather than a citrus snap. Lava, saffron and black pepper weave a core that is hot, mineral and dry, the saffron adding a leathery bitterness before any leather arrives.
