About this deal
This fragrance opens on an especially spiced citrus combination, built on the sweeter original Eros formula but pushed in a considerably sharper direction. Mandarin orange, Madagascar pepper, lemon, chinotto and rosemary push the top toward a sharp, peppery brightness, a clear departure from the straightforward mint-citrus opening of the original Eros. Geranium, rose and pepperwood run through the center, floral and spiced, keeping that peppery theme alive rather than softening it. Vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, Texas cedar, patchouli and oakmoss form a dense dry-down, warm and woody, giving Eros Flame serious staying power once fully developed. Versace labeled this as oriental spicy, structured for evening wear while remaining wearable through cooler daytime hours too. Eros Flame Cologne fits dinners, celebrations and evenings where a bold, spicy presence is welcome. Its six-note base runs considerably denser than the original Eros ever attempted, trading brightness for added weight. Cold weather favors the cedar and patchouli close most, when the composition's warmth has room to fully settle. Versace designed Flame to run hotter and spicier than its predecessor, and the peppery top makes that intent clear immediately.
