Considerably bolder than its Elixir sibling, Lion Cologne from Rayhaan opens on four materials at once, pear, lavender, mint and bergamot combining for a fruity, herbal, citrus bright top. Cinnamon, clary sage and cumin settle the centre into something warm and distinctly savory. Vanilla, amber, patchouli and cedar close the base deeply sweet and richly woody. Cumin in the centre is a daring choice, a spice more common in cooking than in mainstream perfumery. Lion Cologne is an aromatic woody Eau de Parfum from Rayhaan, suited to evening wear and special occasions. Rayhaan matched the Lion name with the boldest material in its whole lineup.
