Valor Mystique promises both courage and mystery, and Khadlaj balances the two carefully, bergamot, cardamom and cypress opening sharp and warmly spiced. Saffron and amber deepen the core into something luxurious and softly resinous. Musk and cedarwood close the drydown warm and richly woody. Cypress alongside cardamom in the top is an unusual pairing, dry green wood meeting warm spice right from the first spray. Valor Mystique Cologne is a woody spicy Eau de Parfum from Khadlaj, suited to everyday wear and the office. Khadlaj kept this entry considerably more restrained than the rest of the La Fede line.
