What gets tracked
Each listing is read on a rotation and its price is written down with a timestamp. Nothing is interpolated: a day we did not read a store is a gap in that listing's history, and the charts draw it as a gap rather than a line, because a drawn line would assert a price nobody observed.
That record is what makes the rest of the site possible. It is how a listing can be called cheap for that seller rather than merely cheapest today, how a fall is measured within one seller's own listing instead of against a rival who happened to arrive, and how a store's prices can be compared with the market bottle for bottle. Where to see it
- Any fragrance page carries the recorded price history for that bottle, with every seller compared per millilitre at each size.
- The drops report lists falls measured inside a single seller's own listing, which is the only kind of fall that means anything.
- The open datasets publish the same measurements as JSON, so the numbers here can be checked rather than trusted.
What it does not do
It does not email you. There is no price alert on this site yet, and saying otherwise would be describing a feature rather than a record. It also cannot tell you a price it never read: the history begins on the date above, and "lowest" here always means lowest within the window we have observed, never lowest ever.
