Armaf's Flavia line builds Platinum Pour Homme around an oddly direct watery reference through the center, an odd choice for a fragrance named after a metal rather than water. Bergamot, grapefruit and pink peppercorn open with a bright, spiced citrus freshness that gives little indication of the aquatic turn to come. An aquatic accord, lavender and violet leaves carry the center, watery and herbal, shifting the composition considerably from its spiced citrus start. Ambergris, oak moss and patchouli wrap things up warm and earthy, giving Platinum Pour Homme Eau de Parfum a grounded, confident conclusion.
