Fragrance price per ml
A 100 ml bottle at $120 and a 50 ml at $70 are not the same price, and neither number tells you which is better value. Every price on this site is normalized to cost per millilitre so they can be compared directly.
How this is calculated
Price per millilitre is the retailer's current price divided by the bottle size, and nothing else. Shipping is excluded because it depends on where you are and what else is in the basket; taxes are excluded for the same reason. Where a retailer lists the same size twice — a tester beside a sealed box — the cheaper of the two is the one that counts, so no seller can weight the comparison by posting more listings.
Sizes under 30 ml are decants, samples and travel sprays rather than full bottles, and they are labelled as such wherever they appear. They are excluded from the headline price on a fragrance page, because a $4.50 sample is not what that fragrance costs.
Prices are the last ones we observed, not a live query against the retailer's checkout. We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this site.
What each size costs per ml
| Bottle size | Median price per ml | Sizes measured |
|---|---|---|
| 1–9 ml | $5.99/ml | 2,511 |
| 10–29 ml | $4.50/ml | 925 |
| 30–59 ml | $3.18/ml | 603 |
| 60–99 ml | $2.07/ml | 278 |
| 100–149 ml | $1.55/ml | 1,050 |
| 150 ml and up | $0.75/ml | 34 |
Across the catalog today, the 1–9 ml band runs at $5.99/ml against $0.75/ml for 150 ml and up — so buying small costs roughly 8× as much per millilitre. These are medians across every size we currently price, measured Aug 5, 2026. Bands with fewer than 20 measured sizes are left out. It describes this catalog on this day, not fragrance pricing in general.
